How to Get Here

The World of Illusion is centrally located in Dublin city centre, easily accessible by foot and public transport:

By Bus: Several bus routes stop at Central Plaza, these include the 15, 27, 56a, 77a and 123.  Any bus routes servicing Dame Street, College Green and Westmorland Street are all less than a 5-minute walk away

By Luas: The nearest Luas stop is located by Trinity College, just a short distance away.

By Train: The closest station is Pearse Station, a 10-minute walk away

By Dublin Bikes: Convenient bike rental stations are available throughout the city, the closest Dublin Bike Station is located at Central Plaza.

By Car: We recommend using public transport if possible.

Capture the magic of your visit with our Photo Experience, a fun and interactive way to take home lasting memories!
 
Located at three photo points throughout World of Illusion, our Photo Experience lets you strike the perfect pose and capture a professional quality keepsake from your visit.
The Photo Experience is an optional paid add-on, operated by a third party company which can be purchased on site during your visit.
 
Price: €12 for a photo & booklet | €15 for a photo & keyring
 
Please note: One of our three Photo Experience options uses specialist background removal software to create a unique digital illusion. As this particular effect is generated through the third party Photo Experience software, it cannot be captured or recreated using your own phone or camera. If you would like to take this image home, it is available to purchase as part of the Photo Experience.
 
This applies only to the background removal experience. Guests are welcome and encouraged to take their own photos throughout the rest of World of Illusion using their phones, with plenty of photo opportunities to discover during your visit

At World of Illusion, we are committed to ensuring that all guests can enjoy their experience with ease and comfort.
 
Our venue is fully wheelchair accessible, with ramps and wide pathways throughout, so everyone can explore the illusions without barriers. Four of our illusions are not fully wheelchair accessible due to the specific physical setup required for the effect to work, but the rest of the attraction can be enjoyed without limitations.
 
Facilities include:

  • Accessible Toilet – conveniently located on the ground floor and designed for ease of use.

  • Lift Access – all levels of the venue can be reached via the lift, ensuring a smooth experience for those with mobility needs.

  • Step-Free Entry – from the entrance to the exhibits, you can navigate without stairs.

Sensory Considerations:

Strobe Lighting – One of our rooms contains strobe lighting. The room is clearly marked with signage on the door, allowing guests to make informed choices about entering.
